⭐⭐⭐ OUT OF 5
ARTIST: KAI CA$H
DIRECTOR: Michael Flynn
Kai Ca$h delivers the very first visual “$kee $lopes” from his debut EP, Birth In The Borough. Shot by Michael Flynn, the director takes a page from Spike Lee’s directing book; capturing Kai riding a bmx bike through his Brooklyn neighborhood as he raps/reminisce growing up in the area. This visual is a breath of fresh air as it brings back that NYC Hip-Hop nostalgia everyone fell in love with back in the day.
“$kee $lopes is important to me because it’s my life story condensed into 2 minutes , I was able to touch on so many different chapters and embrace them with this record. The video also hits home because it’s based on the places in Brooklyn that I grew up in, the visual/song match up perfectly. SB: I freestyled the entire song lol “– Kai Ca$h on $kee $lopes
Kai recently re-released his debut Birth In The Borough EP adding an additional record titled, “Tei Zaundei”. The record received a lot of attention and demand to be released following Justin Combs posting a Triller video. Fans can expect more visuals and music from Kai throughout the last quarter of 2019. Along with a few appearances, performances and more.
